Carlos Kauffman
is a race car driver par excellence. He has successfully participated in many
international races. Carlos Kauffman
recently participated in the IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge by Yokohoma which features
professional drivers racing head to head in the largest single-make series in
North America. Modern racing is not for the faint hearted, only some excel at
the sport and a few become real champions. Carlos Kauffman is a long time race
car driver who has many prestigious titles to his credits. He currently lives
in Venezuela with his wife and 3 children. He is a fitness freak and is highly
passionate about winning.
Carlos Kauffman
was in action at Florida’s homestead circuit which held the Ferrari Challenge
Trofeo Pirelli. One day was given over entirely for free practice and then the
27 cars entered the track for the qualifying sessions and the first race of the
weekend. Carlos Kauffman was the fastest in the Trofeo Pirelli category. Carlos
Kauffman has also participated in the IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge by Yokohama and
put his number 24 NGT Motorsport Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car among the winners.
Passionate about racing and winning, Carlos Kauffman dedicated this win to his
daughter. It surprises Carlos Kauffman
when many non-racing people say motor racing is not a sport actually. It
surprises him even more when many racers don’t understand that racing is a real
sport. Racing a car is just as demanding as playing soccer or American
football. Race car drivers actually push their muscles, respiratory system,
heart and mind beyond its limit.
Carlos Kauffman graduated
from the Universidad Central de Venezuela in the field of Odontology. As a race
car driver he is level headed and keeps his cool. Carlos Kauffman is also a
businessman and is the Director of the firm called Industrias Venoco. A
multi-talented personality, Carlos Kauffman not only became the race car driver
of the year in 2010 but was also the Helicopter pilot of the year in 2000. At
the finale, it was all the way an NGT victory as Carlos Kauffmann broke out of
a season-long slump to take both race victories, while Andres Cisneros earned
his first ever Gold Cup podium finish.
In the
qualifying round, Carlos Kauffman was driving his #24 NGT Motorsport Porsche
911 GT3 Cup Car. It was amazing how Carlos Kauffman was way ahead of all the
championship contenders. In fact he got a pole position and finished the
qualifying round with a track record time of 1:25.737 and only three/tenths of
a second separating the top three. Carlos Kauffman asserts that one needs to
make split second decisions on the track. This needs immense practice and hard
work both on and off the track. Carlos
Kauffman is highly interested in fitness and exercises regularly to keep
fit both physically and mentally.
Carlos Kauffman lives in
Venezuela with his wife and three children. He is a complete family man and
adores his family. Carlos Kauffman is a team oriented person and firmly
believes that he could not have made it so far in the world of racing without
the support of his team and family.
